Nido (Infant) Environment (3 months – 15 months, steady walkers) Our youngest children begin in what Montessori called the Nido Environment. Nido the Italian word for nest. Up to eight children are given ample space to develop and grow in a safe and loving environment.  This program is led by Miss Britnye, Miss Besma, and Miss Chloe.

Toddler Environment (15 months – 2 years) Our young toddlers are encouraged to explore and learn through hands-on experiences that foster independence and self-direction. The space is designed with natural materials and open-ended activities that allow toddlers to choose their work, developing confidence and a sense of responsibility. Whether indoors or outdoors, children engage in student-led activities like caring for plants, exploring textures, or practicing practical life skills, all at their own pace. This approach nurtures their curiosity, builds a deep connection to the natural world, and supports the development of essential life skills. This program is led by Miss Britnye, Miss Brie, and Miss Maddie.

The transition between classrooms/locations occurs on a student by student basis, upon developmental growth, natural interest and exploration, etc. Our educators are closely monitoring, observing and documenting student activities and growth, to ensure that they are fulfilled in their learning space.
